When
I received the Samsung SCX-4500 Monochrome Laser Multifunction Printer,
I thought it would just be another multifunction device -- something
that prints, scans and copies. It's all that . . . but it's also
drop-dead gorgeous.
Because the SCX-4500 is monochromatic, the only toner cartridge
you'll need to worry about is black. The starter cartridge that
comes with the printer will print about 1,000 copies, and the replacement
cartridge will give you about 2,000 copies for about $75. That'll
make your per-page print cost about 3.75 cents. The printer itself
retails in the $300 range, which is a bit less than some comparable
MFPs on the market.
