Epson
Stylus Photo R2880 includes a revamped printer driver designed to
give users control over black and white tones as well as gradation.
'This is similar to selecting specific papers and chemicals in the
darkroom,' claims Epson.
Key features also include a new Micro Piezo print head that uses
a new 'ink repelling' coating designed to 'improve dot replacement,
which in turn improves image quality'.
The printer deploys Epson's UltraChrome K3 system ink with Vivid
Magenta pigment ink.
